Since the weather’s great, after a long time, let’s go running.
I’m faster than you, but I’ll lose to you just this once.

陽のあたる川岸を駆け抜けたら　嫌な事も
きっと忘れるから　少しは笑えよ

hi no ataru kawagishi wo kakenuketara iya na koto mo
kitto wasureru kara sukoshi warae yo

If we run through the riverbank being hit by the sun, we can surely forget all the bad things, and smile just a bit.

時にはライバルでも　何かあったら頼ってくれよ

Come on! Let’s go! dare yori mo mikata de iryo yo hontou wa
toki ni wa raibaru demo nanika attara tayottekure yo

Truthfully, there are times when we’re rivals, but whenever you need something, you can rely on me.

冷静にふるまっても　なぜか見透かされてしまう
面倒見が良くて　ありがたいと思うけど

reisei ni furu mattemo naze ga misukasarete shimau
mendou mi ga yokute arikatai to omou kedo

You may be acting composed, but somehow I can completely see through it.
But I think you’re grateful for it – it’s worth the trouble.
